How to properly kick a football ball

Good form, technique, timing, and form are necessary to correctly kick a soccer or football ball. The proper way to kick a football involves the following steps:

  1. Your feet should be shoulder-width apart, your knees bent and your toes pointed forward.
  2. Your left leg should be bent at the knee. Place your left heel against your right forefoot. Your weight should fall on your back leg.
