Ronaldo's incredible Serie A goals are a common memory for fans of the Portuguese footballer. Did you know he scored up to 147 goals? You're in luck! We'll be looking at Ronaldo's Serie A goals, assists, and more. Continue reading to learn more.

Ronaldo's career

The final year of his contract with Juventus is up in the summer. Reports indicated that the Portuguese international was nearing Turin. The deal was first made before the Euro 2021 championship, when Juventus were looking for financial stability. Ronaldo shared with his fans an emotional Instagram photo as a final goodbye. Although there was speculation about a move, Juventus were surprisingly keen on keeping the player in Turin.

The Portuguese forward started his career playing for Manchester United before joining Real Madrid FC. While at Real Madrid, he won many titles, including the Ronaldo league, which is named after him. Unfortunately, the Portuguese international found little support in his first season in Italy, and Juventus did not win a single title. Fabio Capello dropped him after only two seasons and his chances of winning the sixth Champions League title were diminishing.

His time at Juventus

Ronaldo's stay at Juventus in the last two years was mixed. Although both the first and second seasons were successful, Juventus lost its rhythm and team cohesion by the end. Juventus tried to cater to Ronaldo and play attractive system-based football, but in the process, they created a team that was very disjointed. The team won primarily because of individualism.

Although Juventus' decline can be partly attributed to poor coaching, Ronaldo made a minimal contribution to the team. Even if they did manage to win the Serie A twice, the team still did not come close to winning the Champions League during his time there. Juventus lost to Lyon in the knockout stages, failing to reach the semi-finals in both seasons. Juventus' chances of winning this year's CL are slimming with Ronaldo.

His Serie A goals

One of the most talked about football players of all time is Cristiano Ronaldo. The Manchester United striker, who is currently playing for the club and Portugal's national team, has scored over 300 goals in Serie A. He has been a household name and earned $220 million. He is only 26 years old.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a Juventus forward ended the season as the top scorer for Serie A. He was the only player in the Premier League, La Liga and Italy's top flight to accomplish this feat. He set a record for scoring 29 goals in Serie A, surpassing Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea forward). As a result, he became the first player to finish top scorer in three separate leagues. Cristiano Ronaldo scored three goals in the UEFA Euro 2016 final to break his record. In the same season, he was also awarded the Serie A Footballer of the Month award.

His assists

Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player in the history football. He is second to Lionel Messi in terms of his 63 goals and 55 assists with Juventus. But both players have records that are not equal. Messi has scored nine more league titles than Ronaldo and Messi has scored more goal than Ronaldo. The Portuguese star, however, has not been as successful at the league as his teammate.

Ronaldo won three Serie A titles during his three years with Juventus and two Ligue 1 trophies. Inter Milan ended his nine-year reign at the Serie A title. Ronaldo has always been associated with goals, but the last five seasons have seen him transform into a number 9 who assists his team-mates. With his goal-scoring ability and the increasing importance of his role in the game, his assists have risen dramatically.
